I think I'll pick some flexible ABS plastic this spring and try a homemade lip from my 1G as well.

Re: after 10 years its coming back to life

got them all back on the car now. They look so much better of the takata green. I will have them powder coated when I need to buy new tires some time but the tires dont have many miles on them so at least a few summers left.

Re: after 10 years its coming back to life

thanks kevin. now just to get it to run on SD. then up for an aliment then to shane for a tune. It is getting there it is so nice to see it back together after all these years. Hell Aly has never been for a ride in the car. I took it apart before we started dating 10 years ago.

also the new front diffuser for the 2gb talon bumper is being made this week and will be here next week

I had to raise the car it was to low for the new rims I raised the back 1/2in and front 1/4in so the tires will not get cut up on the fenders and qt. panels. That and the car is sitting in a low spot in the drive way on the drivers side.

I have new arms from the parts cars. For the cowl just need to get some bumper stripper to get the white paint off

There ya go, do that and hit it with some back to black. Will look nicer IMO. I did the same thing to one of my cars and it looks so much better vs re-painting it black.

Re: after 10 years its coming back to life

well time for a huge update on the spyder. After sitting for over 10 years now it is alive. Got the wiring problems fixed, put in a new coil pack (the one in it was very weak) put in a new temp sensor also.

It is running right now on e85 1600cc injectors and the stock mas. just have to plug the SD back in and make the changes in link.

It is leaking from the drain tube at the turbo right now but that is a easy fix. Then just have to get an aliment and have it tuned then it can be my d.d. since Aly and I have been sharing the 01 mirage since I sold the hatch months ago.
