Why was Lacroix classified as an other Mitsu?

It was a registration mix up. Registering 130 cars, sometimes it happens. I noticed it about halfway through the day, but by then there was a lot of voting slips already in. So I didn't change his class.

Yeah, I was suprised at the galant/evos/eclipses in the OTHER section too...I figured they did it purposely as a better chance for trophies??

John's Galant was the only mix up we had. We had a Galant class and he got stuck in the "other Mitsus". There were no Evos in the "other" class, just lancers. And 4G Eclipses do not have there own class so they are in the "other" class too.
I take a lot of pride in getting these little things 100% right, but I didn't actually register any cars this year or last year. I've got some good volunteers, but we always have a new one or two each year. And there is a little bit of a learning curve with this stuff.
John's galant probably would of won the Galant class if it was in that one. The thing is just a monster and a very well known car.
later,
Curt

Doh, sorry Curt! Yeah, I talked with the owner of one of the other class Evos and found it was in reality a fastback lancer - first one I've ever seen. Also, not being an Eclipse fan, I didn't realize the niceties. Heck, I didn't even realize the stratus/cirrus was actually an Eclipse before the bbq! *^_^*
Please accept my appology and thanks again for the great event!

No problem. I can totally understand why you'd think other cars were in the wrong category. You have to be a hard core Mitsu nut to keep a lot of that stuff straight. LOL.

In Curt's defense, John's galant should be in the "John's Galant Class" with a checkbox for "awesome" as the only voting option.
End of the day, John gets a trophy and an "awesome" count.
