Sorry I don't remember. It was off ebay, but it was a nicer one on there not just the cheapest chinese one I could find. I haven't really tested it yet though, car has been doing a lot of sitting, so can't comment on how well it's performing as a heat barrier.

Found a guy who works out of his shop at home in St. Francis. Said he removes all the pieces (bumpers, etc) for painting. Primer, base, and clear, uses PPG products. Sent me pics of his other work which looks real nice, should look like new when he is done. Said usually about a 1 week turnround time from when he gets it.

Re: Project Lex
Around $2k. Considering he is going to disassemble everything, fix all dents, fill old badge holes, mount rear lip, etc and said it'll look mint when he is done, it seems like a pretty good price for all that.

Re: Project Lex
Next weekend hopefully. Gotta give him a call on Wednesday to see how his schedule looks in case we have to reschedule. I have a work trip over the week of the 19th so basically I'm hoping it's done when I get back.
Wanna come with? I'll need a ride home . Either that or I'll just trailer it there.

Re: Project Lex
Let me know what day, if my sucky work schedule doesn't get in the way then I'm down.
I had some questions about your transmission, is it a 6spd from a 350/370Z? how much did that run you?
I found a company that will adapt that transmission to any motor pretty much:
http://collinsadapters.com/index.php...es/toyota.html
I have also found reviews that the comfort of driving this transmission is above that of the good old T56/TR6060.
i can't lie, I really want to build one of these too.

Re: Project Lex
Nice! This thing is looking awesome. Maybe I missed it, but are you switching colors?
Should look sweet when done, good work, I like the spoiler.
We need a blaine meet this summer. Lots of people already meet at Bricks, or they did, would be nice to see you guys again once I get my POS working again.
