Re: Mark's 1G Winter Projects
10 lbs is crazy, how wide are they?
3.5" piping is nuts too, do you think 3" is holding you back?
I saw these new style clamps the other day too, they look promising!

Edit: Looks like Kiggly plans on running the linked product in 3.5" next season.

The clamps you listed look good too!
The wheels are 8" wide.

Thanks guys!
I can't be happier how the car has turned out, kind of a blend of show car and drag race machine!

Re: Mark's 1G Winter Projects
You never cease to amaze Mark. You can't have many more spots left to take weight from without getting into the realm of body panels right?

Not many opportunities left, I'm not going to tin can it either by hacking up body panels. The car should be close to 2200lbs now! 2017 will be an exciting year!

No crazy cf doors/front clip like Bush, Holland, Montgomery and the other big dogs?

Re: Mark's 1G Winter Projects
Thanks for the feedback guys!
My tube bender is a Woodward fab unit, very close to the JD2.
I just finished it up last night. I also cleaned up the rearend. It has new bolts, vent, plugs, seals and a fresh paint job. I'll be installing it soon. It's crazy how much oem stuff is available from Mitsubishi for a 25 year old car!
