Me, Peter, Brownman - Spectating because no race car
Spaz and Scheides about to line up, where Spaz beat Scheides socks of an ran a 12.0 flat, wish I would have gotten it on tape.
Supra guy I met a few days prior to this event. Nice guy, nice car w/ 67mm turbo:
Cher lining up, about to run his 11.2
Burnout
Getting a tour of the bang bus!
And because no racecar, we decided to lug the boat up there since beautiful Gull Lake is just minutes from the track and the weather forecast was awesome! So after watching racing until 4ish, we headed out and launched the boat on Gull
Chillin enjoying the gorgeous weather on Gull with some friends and drinks
Dropped anchor and blew up some floaties and did some floating
Peter and Nina gettin frisky on the rear sundeck, and brownman chillaxin in the bow
Docked at Zorbaz and met up with Andrew, Matt Dizzle, and SimulatedWood (Shawn)
After that we came back at around sunset and enjoyed some camping shenanigans. Had a great time, thanks again MAP
Sweet B, we were out on Gull on Saturday as well, but we were off the point chillaxin in the 26' X-Star. We were also at Zorbaz, but on Friday night only. We stayed at the Grandview a half mile down the road from there.
Holy crap awesome video! Crappy it was of one of the run that I shifted into 2nd waaaaay too early. Oh well, the quality is amazing! Thank you for sharing.

Nate, what was your best time? I caught one of your 10 sec runs, but Lacroix had said you were having ignition issues in 4th gear?
Yeah it was running super rich the wideband was 10.0 (the lowest it reads)cause I replaced the battery and alternator so the volts were at 10.3 on the dyno and at the track they were 13.5-13.7 volts.
Went 10.3@127
1/8 was 6.5@118.7
No bad for only picking up 9mph on the back half.there's more in it!
The MAP video looks amazing, I'm looking foward to watching it. Schides, I think your mic on your go pro is Fuked from running the case with the open back and blowing your mic out, it cracks now. I've read that duck tape over the back of the open case is the way to go if your mounting outside of the car.
I had a great time, from what I remember. Gonna have to take it easy on the 6 beer, beer bongs next year though. I had a hangover until Tuesday hahahaha

Actually I wish I had switched to that case for some of the vids. For the in-car ones the case I was using was perfect, it is actually fully open on the sides as well as back--this is not in the standard case, I got it from my neighbor--but on a few of the shots, wind noise is definitely bad. I wish I had reviewed the footage faster but like I said, this was all about experimentation. I'll try next time with a standard enclosed housing with and without the open back and see how it is.
