Re: Big Brown's Automagic - The last episode in my DSM story.
You sound defeated man! 11.4 is pretty epic on such a basic setup IMHO, be happy! Plus you got to actually rip down the track at all...enjoy the times you've had and just keep having fun.

I can't remember, are you currently on a small 16g?

What needs to be done to hit 1.5's on the autobox?
Needless to say, get the 60' down and you'll be barking at 10's

I did a 1.59 the last time I was out, but I only made an 1/8th mile pass. 7.1@97mph. That was my best 1/8th mile pass.

Nice, I guess its doable then, I'll have to change up some shifting points maybe and look at the tune a bit more.

The times are ok, but nothing to write home about.
I left everything in place, I'm not like the honda guys pulling everything out possible.
Plus I like to run it as it is on the street so I know what it does for the most part.

Lol, running low 11's (knocking on 10's door) in a fairly full weight DSM with a stock frame turbo, is no big deal now a days? There's people with 62mm's running similar times (me included in my old Talon). I must be out of the loop, because I'd be proud...

Who says I am not proud?, there are a few people doing this not a lot but there are people doing it, the only reason I am not ecstatic is because the car has a more in it, the prior track passes and even todays abandoned pass show that. I just expect a lot I guess.
I don't care about the people who can't drive there setup's or wanted cars that were better at freeway pulls.
I ordered a 9" electric fan for my trans cooler last week and it showed up today and I got an orange gear display. I'm also pretty sure that I'm going to get rid of my custom programmed/chipped TCU and do the kiggly mod also.
Re: Big Brown's Automagic - The last episode in my DSM story.
Now that I think about it, high power with low pressure allowing the clutches to slip too much might cause that guys problem. I'll PM Kiggly n see what he says.
