My car is almost road worthy. I don't think it'll be done to the point I wanted it to be. But atleast I'll be able to drive it around and enjoy it before the snow, and then finish the other things during the winter. I'd post pics, but my pics are on MY computer, and I'm using someone elses because Qwest sucks and I have no internet at home.

Hmm, considering there's no fucking hormones involved. Look, I've tried to get involved in this site, and for while it worked. But what the hell am I supposed to do if no one takes me seriously. I've left posts about shit that's important and I've tried learning and tried talking to you people. Seems like only a few of you value what I have to say and take it seriously. Men are the fucking reason women hate being into cars. Let me tell you guys a little fucking story about something that happened to me a week or so ago. I went to Porky's with my best friend Emily and there was a big bunch of guys there all about 30 years old, people you would look at and EXPECT them to be mature. Clearly, we were wrong. As we walked around looking at cars, commenting on them, whatever, we kept hearing them talk louder and louder and eventually it became aparent what they were saying was about us. I started to hear comments like "Who let the pretty little girls out of their boyfriends sight?" "back away from the car sweety, you might break a nail!" "What are they doing here??" "awh cute, the little girl thinks she knows something about cars!" Then the one that got me "Hey I don't think you can handle that car little girl, but I'll take you for a ride!" Its become clear to me that men can not believe in a girl to know anything about a car. I turned to the guys and said "hey ass hole, how about we look under the hood of your piece of shit and I'll tell you whats not under the hood." He proceeded to tell me to go to the mall and eat something, then call my friend a fat whore. I didn't fucking ask for much by getting on this web site. I made a few friends, but I really haven't learned much about cars. And thats not my fault. I've read some on the sites you guys have referred to me, but any thing I asked you guys was totally over looked. Furthermore, I have responded to questions you guys have asked, and spent a lot of time on good fucking answers that I actually knew quite a bit about and once again, over looked. I don't know what the deal is. I don't know if you guys think I'm 1/2 retarded or what, but its pathetic how you guys treat me. I'm not retarded, I'm a girl. And I honestly expected that most of you would have alittle more respect. But I can see that most of you think a girl is meant to sit around and look pretty, but I'm sorry, I was never meant to do that. So either talk to me and listen to my points and answer my questions like you would any other guy on this web site, or AJ you might as well ban me, because this is bullshit. I don't care either way. I'm sorry you guys were pathetic enough to treat me different because I'm a girl. But fine. Like I said, Treat me the same as everyone else or ban me. End of story.

By the way, I don't mean this for everyone. Some of you were really nice to me and actually took the time to talk to me. So to those of you, thanks for everything!

BTW, we do treat you the same as the guys here. You can't seem to stay on topic, and we have told you this in the past. I could care less what you have on your bottom half, but it's gets annoying to see post like this. P-I-M-P did not take you that long to come up with as a reply. It's the chatter back and forth with the friends you do have on here that's getting annoying. Threads are not meant to be used like a personal message, that's why we have that option on here. If you want talk about that, pm the person. Or better yet, if you guys want to talk about what's going on at the AV McDonald's, create a thread in the appropriate place.

Very good points, its not that the members of this board do not have any respect, its just the majority of the member base seems to be of the younger variety. With that being said, threads tend to go off topic more often, and moderation has to be more strict. Sorry it looks like your the only one being picked on, but your not.
This board is a good source for tech information, if you can sift through all the general banter and other bs. The moderators and admins try very hard to keep threads on topic, and are trying to make it a more involved board for the senior members. If you noticed, there are threads in the "off topic" section, where it is 300+ posts of general banter. This is where the admin's and moderators would like to see it posted, instead of specific threads where tech or other questions are involved. I know a few of the senior members have stopped posting technical answers just because it has been covered and typing in 'use search' gets old.

I'm not gonna ban anyone unless they deserve it. But if you don't like the way the site's ran, go somewhere else. I've said that more than a few times publicly to people.

I don't invest my time and money into this site for it to turn into a fucking place to "hang out" by the newest generation of DSMers. Especially with random bullshit 90% of us don't want to sift through in threads we are hoping contain info relitive to the topic.
