Yep, I forgot about a 1g RX7, that would be the shizzle. Cheap and light! Mazda Miata is a possibility too, but I don't know the rally rules for a convertible. They are getting really cheap now. My boss is getting one for $1,250.

Hey! Why don't you please take the yellow rx7 from in front of the shop. It's Maras friends... but I want it gone a year ago... I'm sure they will let it go pretty damn cheap. There is a motor here waiting to go into it(that would come along with it...). PLEASE!

They redline at around 11k (not 100% positive on this..I'd hafta go look it up) Their suspension setup are quite nice, and I've tested a few on some tracks. the torque down low leaves a little to want, but with a supercharger they can be quite potent. If you autocross, keep it up around 6k, and go from there. They have a digital readout instead of regular gauges, and the interior I actually like. Braking force is pretty nice, and I even used downshifting to help slow it down even more. Once I went down 1 gear too low, as I was going into the corner, and the rear end swapped with the front. Just be careful with your driving technique, and you will have fun with this car. I'd say the only downside with the s2k, or even the 240 is that they are rather expensive to upkeep, or mod. The 240 has become a much more popular car, due to the drifting craze, and since then parts are more pricey then they used to be.

No offense, but you have to be one of the biggest dolts on this board. I own an S2k, and its pretty aparent from your posts that you've never driven (let alone raced) one. How is the upkeep on an S2000 expensive? Other than fluids, the car doesn't have any scheduled maintainance until 105,000 miles (spark plugs, valve adjustment, etc.).

I might actually come take a look at the body and underside of it. It's not like I couldn't take on a project car cause I could store it at my parnets place in IA.

When you want to get rid of the starion, you should let Eric (lightningGSX) know, he mentioned he wanted one a few times.
