Re: All Mitsu Cookout -- Sunday, August 28th, 2011 -- Rogers, MN
I hope it doesn't rain, the wipers on my car don't work.
From the forecast's I've seen as of today, possibility of rain late (hopefully after I get the car home, lol).

Don't sweat the forecast. Its only rained one time during the first 12 Cookouts. And even on that occasion we still had an awesome time. The All Mitsu Cookout is a rain or shine event.
Besides, you'll go nuts watching a five day forecast change every day.
later,
Curt

I just realized that I'm still on the list for my evo, I sold that last month so I will be just attending this year as a spectator.

I have changed my mind about taking my Talon. Instead the GS-T will be returning this year. Could you possibly remove me from the list or change my information?
(1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T; incase you can change the info. for me).

If you sign up again using the same email address, it will overwrite your old info. Then the next time I update the webpage, the new info will be there. You should have a buddy bring your other Mitsu.
And yes, the Weather Channel now has Partly Cloudy and 76. LOL, what a guessing game.

Thanks! I would, but the rear tires on the Talon are worn from someone never having it alighed. Oh well. If I don't sell it, maybe next year.

I could be a weather man, you feed people a bunch of BS for the 7day forcast and then you look at the radar and give an accurate 24 hours forecast. I'm perdicting -10F with snow showers, hopefully that forecast changes in the next few days.
Speaking of 1g's, when is curt planning on getting one?

Bah...Maybe I'll grab a buddy and head up there. I could really use the inspiration to finish my car.

Is it ok if we bring our chumpcar (90 honda civic, but it has some DSM parts!) to the cookout for a few hours and hand out flyers, answer questions about chumpcar? We can't stay the whole time, we have to finish fixing it

The Honda can't be parked in the show. It will have to be in the spectator lot. But I'm okay with you mingling with people and handing out flyers.

Re: All Mitsu Cookout -- Sunday, August 28th, 2011 -- Rogers, MN
The All Mitsu Cookout is almost here! Its this Sunday from 11am to 4pm at the Rogers Middle School. We are up to 128 sign ups: http://www.mn3s.org/cookout-list.html
If you haven't signed up yet or still thinking about coming, you still can. Even if you don't sign up, you can register and pay at the show. And if you haven't made out your car sign yet, you can even fill one of those out at the show. (but its a lot cooler to make your sign ahead of time)
When you first get to the school, you will enter the parking lot and you'll pay and get your wristbands. Then you'll go park in the appropriate row and finish your registration at the registration tent. There you'll get your car sign, car number, and voting slip. Then put your car sign on your car somewhere and then enjoy the show. We'll have tons of food, pop, water.
If you are coming to the Cookout without a Mitsu, you can bypass the first entrance to the Cookout and take the next right. Then drive around the school to the back. There is a parking lot back there for spectators. If you want to eat, spectators can go to the registration desk to get a wristband for $5.
See ya on Sunday,
Curt

Probably because it's a Honduh and most DSMer's hate honduhs. I am sure plenty of people would see it in the back lot but to me it would seem stupid to have a honduh in the lot with all the mitsus. If it had a 4G63 motor in it then he might let you, MAP has had their FDSM in the lot in the past.

Must be a Conquest thing - my wipers are squirrelly too! I fixed it by putting rain-x on the windshield...

Didn't look like I would be able to make it; everyone around the area with Mitsu.s decided to cancel last night around 12 and 3, AM. Hahaah. Oh well.
