Sure did. As they say on the bottle, I "liberally applied" that shit all over my shafts.

My deepest apologies for leaving out the important details. I feasted like a king before I did my valve springs. A quick stop to the liquor store and a new bag of charcoal ended up like this.

^^That is why I'm a fatass.

It was either that or Keystone Light, so it was a no brainer.

Re: New Beginnings: 1994 Eagle Talon TSi
Mishimoto radiator came today and picked up my MAF-T. Feels good knowing I'm making some progress on this thing. Pictures coming tonight.
I've also changed my mind about my clutch. For the sake of getting some miles on this year I'll be running an ACT 2900 with a solid hub 4-puck disc. I think it'll hold for at least a season. Definitely good enough for this year.

I want a 1G again.
And that car, if everything works well, should run 10s.
If you ever need a hand, I wouldn't mind helping someone with a glorious 1G.

Re: New Beginnings: 1994 Eagle Talon TSi
Chad finished my transmission yesterday and it looks amazing! All I need to track down is the other shift arm, so if you have the other one that is NOT part of the transmision let me know! Thanks again Chad!

Thanks. Chad did an amazing job. I would recommend him to anyone on the forum that needs transmission work done.

I'm pretty sure it did. It was a little tacky in some of the thicker spots when I pulled it out of the truck this morning, but it's been sitting inside my garage since then.

Re: New Beginnings: 1994 Eagle Talon TSi
I forgot to put this up. I put my crank in today, and well long story short I ended up pushing one of the pistons out of the cylinder, dropping it on to the ground. There aren't any major dings or scratches. Just some pin hole pock marks on the top around the edge. I'll get some pictures up tomorrow. But I'm curious as to whether I should still run it, or order a new piston? Ugh....
