Holy shit that thing is fucking massive! Good thing you'll be able to rev your motor out to 11k... You probably won't see boost till 6500 or so.

1.84 A/R, you will need a lot of nitrous. Garrett exhaust housings are $150-200 I would buy a smaller one.

Its in the GT40 family so not really that big of wheels, but the exhaust housing is a little big for 2 liters, it came off a ~14 liter international.

Is it even worth all of the work to make that turbo work? Wouldnt the car be funner with a turbo that is actually able to be driven with on the street?

Re: the awd spyder after 7 years of sitting comes home

this isn't really going to be driven on a dd basis so in other words go big or go home.

Ok but you take the time (time=$), and in the end to make this turbo fit isn't there much better alternatives that could be used instead that are more realistic? Seems to me that using this turbo in the end wont save any money. Good luck on the project.

How do drum brakes work with the rear axles?

Re: the awd spyder after 7 years of sitting comes home

the turbo is not that big it is just in the gt40 class of turbos. the motor was built to run a huge turbo ant to be able to spin to 11k. the car will see less than 5k a year of driving sense I have a total of 5 cars
the rear is a disk and drum set up. the drum part is the ebrake.
