I spent all last night building my new 3" upper IC pipe with only two couplers instead of three. And the compressor housing is at DB right now getting an elbow welded on, then I'll take the coupler out of the middle of the lower IC pipe and shorten it. I don't foresee having any problems with couplers anymore.

I like the hairspray idea, hadn't heard of that before. My wife has enough laying around to keep my car going for years.

So you bringing this beast to the shootout? When are you leaving? Staying in the RV?

Yep, going to the SO, got an RV so I'm staying at the track with a few buddies. We'll probably leave early Friday morning and drive straight through. I'd like to get to Cedar Point this year since the last time we headed up there, my crankshaft pulley came off and took out my valves and I worked all night on it in the Econolodge parking lot. I ain't doing that again.

I recall that year.... Not a whole lot of fun was had, as far as the car part of it went.

Maybe we'll roll the RV into town and party with the crowd, but it looks like more and more people are staying at the track every year because of the hotel prices and rules. I can't wait to get out there.
