Re: My projects
That black leather makes me jealous with rage. I have only had the tan leather, and everytime I see it I cry.

Re: My projects
lol thanks I had been looking for them for ever.. Then Brendan picked up a parts car, and wala
There are a few spots, where the belts had rubbed, but I worked on them and got them conditioned.
I'm stoked! I had to trade out some of the rear plastics. The ones in it were so sunfaded they were light grey rather then dark. If you look closely in the pic ^ you can see the rear seatbelt is light and before that is dark.. lol.
I'm thinking about ordering in the momo steering wheel and shift knob. I finally found one I like:

Re: My projects
That black leather looks awesome, but you'll hate it in the summer when it's 95 degrees outside.

Re: My projects
I had black leather in first DSM, with no AC... Sucked so bad, the car never cools down even with the windows all the way down.

Re: My projects
Nice. And the classic standing in the empty engine compartment pic is always needed. Good work.

Re: My projects
Thanks
I did need Brendan's help for quite a few things. He was my big strong man that did all the big bolts. But my goal for this car was to do everything myself. The majority of the silver car I had done myself.. But I love that feeling that "this is mine, I built it".

Re: My projects
Nice work; but just one thing.....Did you change before that picture was taken? Because you look pretty clean for someone that just removed an old DSM engine.

I had a long sleeve on (since it's cold in there) and nitrile gloves. Didn't want to look gross in a picture.. geeze
I can't fit in mechanics gloves, so I picked these up from a beauty store:

Haven't ripped on me once!! I'm very impressed!

Nitrile gloves are awesome! They resist everything.
