Talk to Jordan, our tuner, he builds custom AK's. He would prob be the guy to talk to about AK's. Or you can look up Schreyer Weapon Systems on Facebook, if you haven't already checked out his page.

Re: The Gun Thread
I have an Arsenal 74 and I absolutely love it. Highly recommended.
I also have a yugo 47, I love the feel and the quality but I hate shooting it, it's uncomfortable. Try one before you buy it.
Had a century 74, didn't care for it.
I imagine the VEPR's are awesome.
Expect to pay way too much for any of these right now.
Edit - http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.as...fle&groupid=11
Great company to deal with.

Re: The Gun Thread
I just got my permit to purchase and can finally pick up a few items. Looking at a p22 for simple target shooting, a m4 style 22lr for similar used and then eventually here figure out what i want to get for a 9mm and likely an Armalite AR-30M for long range target shooting. Really like the bolt action style for this.
Probably grab some kind of 223 based AR 15 down the road.

Re: The Gun Thread
I won a Bolt action Savage .270 in a raffle at work! Probably pick it up today before work.
Raffle was for a benefit for a fellow CO with breast cancer at work, There were 1,000 tickets sold and only 10 guns. I bought 6.

Re: The Gun Thread
Just picked it up, it's a Savage Axis .270. Nothing special, but for free I'm not complaining!

AJ, your 22lr needs to be a Ruger 10/22!
Full auto 10/22

I am probably going to be gun shopping shortly too. I need to add a couple of pistols and with the new shooting there are a bunch of people fired up on gun control again.

Re: The Gun Thread
Just found out anna buys guns for work from time to time. They give these away, pretty nice I think! Comes with free engraving (from her company):

Re: The Gun Thread
Damn I wouldn't mind having that Beretta for trap. I've been spoiled with shooting my old man's Citori the last couple years.

No need for full auto, but I did pick up my .22lr today. Ruger SR22. I'm still looking at 9mm options.

Re: The Gun Thread
Great pickup, AJ! I really like the way that one felt. It has a nice balance and wasn't too heavy.
I want that Sig 1911 I saw sooo bad! I'm still googling the shit out of it haha!

Re: The Gun Thread
I had a full size sig 1911 nightmare. Was an awesome gun. Sig 1911s are one of your best for the price. Kind of hard to find a holster for though. I will definitely get another someday lol

Bought an Arsenal AK47. I am drooling on it now. Trying to find the perfect side scope mount for it.

Think I need to hurry up and finish my AR, and get my 9mm Glock before prices start skyrocketing.
