Re: My apologies...
Oh no I totally agree. Last year when transfer got busted we were in a parking lot of 500+ vehicles an 1,000-2,000+ kids. We didn't know half of them. Later Fox News did a story on our illegal street racing. I've never seen Fox make such a biased story in my life. I was only 16 or 17 then and I'm not going to lie I sent a letter to them regarding what a ridiculous story they had presented. In the story the main focus had nothing to do with the actual racing. It was all about the stolen parts and the booze and the selling of drugs. If memory serves me right racing was mentioned about 25% of the time and I was offended. Yes, the kids who hung at that spot were retards, and yes we made our own mistake by going there and participating, but what they didn't show in their story was the fact that for most of us [me, my friends, and a few others that went there] it had nothing to dow ith stolen parts, booze or drugs. It was all about the cars, the adreniline rush. Who's car was faster? Who could drive better? We wanted to compete and have fun. The Cops did good though. I give them props, just goes to show that you gotta be smarter than what you are working with, eh? Anyways, we learned our lesson on that one. We generally travel in small packs, just my group of friends. And we don't really have any strangers come to our spots. We're all exclusive and shit. Haha, the high rollers of street racing. But everythings gone down hill. The cops are getting smart and I don't like to go there because I know its a matter of time before there is another bust. But now all the stupid ass ricer kids with their POS Hundos and KaKuras have invaded the peaceful places where the cops are ok with letting us just sit and chill and show off our cars. They race down our alley way and fuck everything up. It pisses me off. So pretty much everything has gone down hill for us. Porky's slowly becoming the only good thing left.

Re: My apologies...
Great, street racing. In my book there is no hidden or good spot for street racing, no matter what. The probability of someone else using that piece of road is always there, it is never non-existent. Ask AJ about one of his street racing experiences in Iowa in a location that most people think of as BFE. Do I fuck around when driving my laser? Have fun on the gravel roads? Yes, but I do not street race.

Re: My apologies...
I dont think there could have been a much better racing spot then Redrock when that was there. The only thing that really could have made it better was cornfields with no ditche's on either side, but other then that, the road is damn near perfect. Oh, and I have never "organized" street raced before, I think thats retarded.

Tauni me and you both know that every spot we know of gets busted up with in an hour or less. And it is only getting worse, it doesn't help when you have stupid people trying to drift in the parking lots and all they are really doing is making noise. Ok ok... me with my open downpipe doing burnouts doesn't help either.

Re: My apologies...
Jakey: Of course the probability is always there. When we go, we are generally careful. Well we are always careful, because we don't want to get busted. We do, but we are always on the look out.
Alec: Yah, But how often do you see me and Nick there anymore. Its his choice to go when I'm not around but HONESTLY, have I really been there a lot lately? No. For the exact reason you just stated. Dumb ass people doing dumb ass things in their dumb ass cars that draw attention to us and ruin what we went there for. I'm just fine sitting at Marathon where the cops RARELY kick us out anymore.

Well, Tauni.
I guess it's not like it was a couple years ago. When it was all about the cars. Now it's all about drama between people. People do some really dumb shit. Like when that one guy in the lightning tried getting the truck sideways leaving, He lost it and almost fucked up his truck.

Re: My apologies...
Some people just create their own drama. I'm still there for the cars.
