Hmmm, Alec maybe you should re-read everything I said. I liked that I car. I think it's sweet. And I would love to have pictures of the first skyline I ever saw in person. But then again, it's retarded that he could use daddy's money and get that much attention. Once again, it was my opinion. Your opinion was to look at the car for a minute. Thats you. Not me.

I meant real cars that hang out at porkies. Proven fast street cars. Anything you or I roll with or in has nothing on them. Be realistic.

He like refused to race anyone. My friend has a stock SRT4 and he wouldn't race it. But then he would like dip out fast. It was really stupid. Whats the point of spending that much on THAT car, if you wont even race it or give it any love?

Because tickets cost money, and proving your 'point' to a bunch of noobs gets old???
In all seriousness, the more money into the car, the less likely someone will race it for 'fun' on the street.

He also could have been afraid of losing. A stock skyline with the average driver runs a high 13. I'd be surprised if the car has many mods since parts and general tunning support are almost as hard to get as the car itself.

Combine this with all the other reasons he may not have raced and you probably end up with a 1 in 20 chance the guy would race.

I know one was for sale on ebay in mn before. It was 13,000 and it never got any bids. I am not sure what the color was though. I am pretty sure it still needed to be licensed also.

Stock skyline is a 13.1 and if he was smart, he'd know he would beat the SRT, so why refuse what you know you can beat? Why refuse anything? If someone wants to talk shit, show 'em whats up. Anyways, sorry Josh, I meant the other Josh, haha.

I'm pretty sure his was stock.

Like NyteRydr said before, tickets, tickets, and lets not forget that even if you win, a lot of people will just say, "I raced him and beat him" or "He wouldn't even race me!" or "I didn't turn my boost to high boost, it was on low!!" somethin stupid along those lines.

Re: So I was hangin' at Taco Bell yesterday...(Skyline sighting)

Jana- It's not that bad. And its not like the couldn't go to RF or somewhere. You won't always get fucked. Besides, the crew that I hang with usually likes to race. Thats why we go there. Why would he roll with a crew who likes to race, knowing the risk they take, if he didn't want to race? Seems kind of lame to me.

Christopher- I was stating facts. To a Skylines potential it runs a 13.1 I didn't say anything about a driver. But you are right, the driver matters.

And yah, I know people talk a lot of shit. My friend used to do it all the time. But who cares?? Deep down whatever little fucker who was talkin shit knows he got his ass beat. In my opinion that satisfies the hell outta me!

Tauni. You should of quit like way back on page one!

Street racing is a broad topic. Some will say in the proper scenrio, its fine. Others will say its never fine. Then there is me who is realistic. I don't care who you are. If you have a fast car, you have raced someone to a certain degree at some point.

Someone enlighten me on the point of owning a sports car if you don't do anything "sporty" with it. And no, sporty does not include ricing it out.

Skyline - Nice cars, over-rated. Bound to be the new honduh civic.

"The crew" you speak of. They race people? I think they are in the wrong location. How about they go get a peice of domestic ass down where the fast cars are. Maybe a few DSM's will show them that they should park their cars too. Racing riced out cars is not a good kill. That's very similar to a Lion going after a weak, busted ass Lama or something. Just because it's easy..

You cannot judge a guy for not wanting to race. Period. He was showing off the car he has that all of the jealous fools dont. I think we all might have done this at some point. That is part of the reason we drive cool cars, to show them off.

Don't tell me to quit. Don't ever tell me to quit because I never will if you talk like that. I'm hard-headed... remember?

Ok, as far as skylines being over-rated. I'll agree with that. But what car isn't these days. We should all just buy POS's, mod them out, and all have sleepers. But eventually so many people will have those to, and then they will be called over-rated! Yay!

It is my PERSONAL opinion that people shouldn't buy sweet cars because they have money and can buy sweet cars. I know you guys have all worked your asses of building and paying for your cars [most of you anyway], so please don't tell me it doesn't piss you off or bug you in the least when some little rich kid takes advantage of daddy's money. And if daddy had all that money, why not mod it up a little? Show people how much money you really have. Don't race, because, well OBVIOUSLY, it would be pointless to do that.

My crew. Yes they race people. And I don't think we are in the wrong location. My friends go to Uni because its fun. And when we go to racing spots, you will notice we have a variety of different cars there; everything from DSM's [a few, not many though], Honduhs, Mustangs, STi's, Evolutions, Camaros, Z's, etc. We race what we see as fast. Thats the point of racing to us. If its fast, we want to know if we are faster. I don't understand what you mean about "real cars".. everything is real if you make it real. And if you are considering domestic cars to be real, why do you drive a DSM? Because you make it real. Alec's SRT was real. Because he made it real. And it was fast. And we don't bother with riced out POS's. We know better. Unless he's talking shit, we know whats worth our time.

I never judged him. I was stating facts about him and contributing to the conversation. People asked me questions and I answered them. I contributed my opinion and I don't see how that is wrong. Maybe it's me though. Maybe I'm not so good at explaining myself and I'm sorry if you guys mistake what I say for something else. Just don't tell me my opinions are wrong because opinions can't be wrong. I understand where you guys come from with this stuff, and I see where you all have very good points. Yes, we are dumb because we race. It's a matter of time before we all get fucked. But it's fun to us so don't tell us we're wrong. And yes, Nitro is good for achieving the best time possible, but it's MY opinion that I wouldn't use it. Thats just me. Just don't tell me my opinions are wrong. Your opinions aren't wrong. Especially since you all are a lot smarter than me and you all make very good points.

But there. I've spoken my peace and I hope you all understand that I don't try to sit and talk shit to people who are a lot smarter than me. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I think its unfair for you to tell me mine is wrong. Thats the only real point I want to get across.
