My silver one was already in the triple digits! It's those quadruple digits that are tricky!!

Jet, you keeping the G54B in it?

Anyway, I should be getting my clutch issue resolved, then sand/paint/mount my front airdam and sideskirts. I also have to sand/paint/polish 3 wheels and stop a small tranny leak.

Of course then there's my bike too...ugh.

My ongoing project is still...ongoing. Can't say when it will be finished. Too many things I want to do, and I won't bother driving the car until I'm happy with it.

Hopefully I land a new job within the next few months. I'd really like to buy a 300ZX TT within the next year and start working on that.

you have some fun with that.

i challenge you to do that with the stock motor. you can modify the internals, if you like, but NO motor swaps. hehe. cause that's the only way your ever going to see 1000 hp on a 2.6 holmes. well... there's always nitro and a turbonetics thumper/Y2K

Keep an eye open for sales from places like The House, The White Wolf, Eric's (the bike man), SportMart, etc.

Nope, there isn't going to be a truck motor in my Starion! It is going to be kick ass, but everything is :secret: for now

In other words it's either the 4G63, 3S engine, or an american V8, right?

But secrets are always good times too i guess... :razz2:

well, if you put a v8 in it, that's just retarded. leave it to an idiot and the first problem that turns up, the g54 is out and a stupid v8 is in.

don't even put a small imported v8 in it. that's cooler, but still. come on.

Kougar, he might also put das 2.14 or 2.4 in there. it'd be pretty easy, seeing how the wide block bolts to the stock tranny. (you might not even need new mounts, but i dunno.)

BUT there's your next problem, the transmission breaks if your putting out good numbers. like anything more that 375-400 hp and it shuts the door in your face.

JET: if you haven't been there, www.starquestclub.com and www.tristarion.com are good info places.

all your tricks are belong to us, unless your putting a rotary in there, then i've heard and/or seen anything you are going to do. 4G63? been done. maaany times.

have fun being not origional

Why wouldn't you do a v8 swap? If you want to make high HP numbers on pump gas, that's the best way to go. I'm assuming that the starion is going to be a high hp drag car (I could be wrong), and a v8 would be perfect for that.

The starion community, for the most part, has a 'problem' with people throwin V8s in them. It's...well it's blasphemy to alot of people, but I understand where you're comin from.

Anyone seen that EIP 10 sec quest? Day-UM hmy:

Oh, and keeping the stock truck engine is original? Like every Starion I have seen started out with that thing in it!!

It is just nearly impossible to make big HP on the 2.6l, so it is coming out. I have some sentimental attachment to this car (my first nice car that I bought back when I was 18) so I would like to fix it up. It would be strictly a weekend warrior and a major sleeper. It isn't even an ESI-R with the fender flares, it is an LE.

I have always wanted to put a 6G72 in one, but we will see what happens.
