Well to add to this thread a little bit, I found this statement to be quite interesting:

Unfortunately Jacobs information is crap. Way back in the day they sold me an ignition system for my Starion that was supposed to add 3 mpg and 18 hp. I didn't see much of any difference.

I do use 8.8 accels, but that is because the 8.8s have double the silicone for insulating to like 550 degrees and 500 ohms per foot. and I am trying the NGK BP7E plug I just put them in to see. some times I boost 20 lbs on 92 oct, I want a new motor anyway. :3gears: so far the plug run the same the wires are my second set after 35000 miles or so.
