With Joes thread and toms reaction, it got me thinking that maybe soemthing more should be said without adding to that already messy recipe.
So this is my theory on the whole thing, feel free to add yours to it after, I am curious how people feel.
Anytime I see a car that is slapped together it makes me cringe. It doesn't matter if it is a performance mod or something done in hopes of making it look better. What is the big problem with taking your time and making right. In fact why not take it a bit farther and make it the best it can be for what you have available. If it was worth doing, it is worth doing right. That doesn't mean I am against home depot mods or anything else for that matter. I just would like to see some pride taken in peoples work. I even try to make weight reduction look good, it's all in the details.
As far as performance goes, I am all about going fast, but if a car runs tens and was slapped together, I have little respect for it. On the flip side, if a car runs 14's but is very well done and the work was put in by the owner, I can appreciate it.
