Re: Sad story of an evo test drive

Dang, reading it the second time is EVEN WORST!'' Let me show you how to get this car side ways?!'' This dude for real! I mean i can see how one mite say let me show you its nice cornering ability, but GETTING a AWD car side ways requires some skill. . . i wish the father would of objected. I can kind of see the scenario happening everyone is excited im sure they knew it was a sport car and wanted to test it out you just never know what might happen or already happened beyond the curve your about to take. . .

Stop pulling this thread off topic and read it about 37 more times.

In prior cases, the salesman, whom investigators have identified as Michael Hershey, 48, of Landisville, Lancaster County, had pleaded guilty to DUI, careless driving and harassment charges, according to court documents.

The crash that killed Chris Jensen, of Leola, Lancaster County, is under investigation, and no charges have been filed. The final accident report doesn't say how fast Hershey was driving before he swerved off the road to avoid an oncoming truck, but Tyler Jensen, who has since hired an attorney, said that Hershey was driving well over the speed limit. The speed limit on the road is 35.

Cliffs for any others that cannot read the English language:

1) The dealer had pleaded guilty to other driving related charges in the past.

2) This particular tragedy is still under investigation and no charges have been filed yet.

This is a very sad story indeed, I hope this dickhead spends at least a few years behind bars and the kid/wife of the dead man gets some sort of settlement out of the dealership.

Re: Sad story of an evo test drive

Having arrived upon the scene of my own fathers heart attack in September prior to the EMT's getting there, I feel for the victim. Words cannot describe what he went through. It is a life changing experience and I hope they throw the book at this salesman and that dealership. When I sold cars they did driver records checks on all sales people, so this Dealership itself should face some responsibility on this accident as well.
Truely a sad story.
