Well, we just got back from RF. My winter beater ran pretty damn good! I got a 13.6@99! I was at 17 lbs of boost and all I did was take out the cooler and spare, then run it. Full interior and just a MBC, UICP, K&N and 2.5 homemade catback. I was really happy with it. I will let everyone else tell their own experiences.

My one and only pass of the day in the Talon, 17.27@57.16, 3rd gear shift fork broke. But Ryan did let me make a pass in his EVO, 12.7@109, that made my day right there.

Sucks to hear... Could have been worse, though.

His timing belt skipped a few teeth so he had to put a new head and timing belt on it.
CRAIG
Winter beater rules. I drove that fucker and ran a 14.0@99.2 against some Corvette and just killed him for some reason. I was spinning really bad though and only cut a 2.192 60' which is horse shit, should have been a 13.6 or something, but it was fun anyway watching that Vette disappear behind the winter beater.
Oh yeah the car was on WINTER KING SNOW TIRES TOO.....AWESOME :jammin:

I guess those tranny plans came sooner than hoped. Sorry to hear about it, but it was bound to happen. Jet, good times for a beater.

Yeah, I knew the tranny wouldn't hold up for ever, but I am glad it lasted this long. I will never race if I see JDM around again. That fucker is bad luck for me.

Thanks Cher. I wish I had gotten the decent tires on first. If I launched over 4800rpm the Winterkings would just spin. It was definately a good time though!

Jet, im still amazed that your winter beater was that fast for the little amount of mods and abuse. That thing has some life left in it for sure. :3gears:

It was pretty fun playing on the highway afterwards too. The EVO put a car length on me thru 1 1/2 gears. I may have to get a new car for my new job now (I got a promotion). I was just checking out Mitsu's site. One of the new MR's looks pretty sweet! I don't know if they will let me get a sports car though. Hey, it's a 4 door sedan, not a sports car, right?

Good lord did I get sunburnt. I got blisters on my face/Ears/and feet. (broke out the sandles for the first time)
Anyrate had a blast and got video of everyone and all there runs as well as a few wheel standing runs, a MN Street Car Mustang that was running 9.6@141?
But damn it wasn't until the end of the day that some domestics started to trap higher then most of use.
Was rediculous watching the domestics bust out 10.4.-10.8 but at 112-116mph.
All day I was like WTF I think all day there was only about 5-6 cars that were trapping in at 123+ with only like 2or3 running 130+
There was one car running 8.9's@151

I almost forgot some of the more impressive times were from 2 Crew Cabin Pick up trucks.
Looked like 2 guys got board and descided to run there toe vehicles. Anyrate both I believe were running mid 13's. But I know for sure 1 ran 13.1
I was like damn. Fullsized Crew Cab pick up with big tires, etc running 13.1's. I made the comment of man did I buy the wrong car.
