Re: HKS Hyundai Genesis

I've been craving a RWD car, as I've been considering building an LSX 240SX, but as much as I thought I'd never buy a Hyundai, I'm very into this car.

Re: HKS Hyundai Genesis

I highly doubt an OEM V8 in the coupe from Hyundai. Neat car it seems though. I'd like to know more about the GEMA engine and it's variants. Sounds like a platform the aftermarket could get behind. Having multiple vehicles interchange performance parts would help offset the R&D.

Because this car is based on the 4 door V8 Genesis Sedan, Hyundai IS NOT ruling out a possible V8 model or maybed even a forced induction V6. (I got this info from the Q&A section of the Hyundai Genesis Coupe site).
Well untill I see the 4B11T in print I will stay with what I was told by some of the engineers.

They tried like crazy to fit the V8 in it but it was a no go. The coupe platform is smaller than the sedan. Maybe when they revamp the platform in a couple of years.
