Re: Cookout numbers

I hate it when people say they don't wanna go cause their car is stock or say there's nothing special about it.. WHO CARES! If you're really a car enthusiast you would be there either way.

Re: Cookout numbers

I agree, its also a time to put some face/cars to names. Its not all about the car its about the people too. I hope to meet some of you there

Re: Cookout numbers

I have an idea Curt, how about we get "hello my name is..." stickers and everyone writes their real name AND online forum name on it.

Re: Cookout numbers

I think a user name and mod list on every window would be a great idea

We do have car signs. People download the sign and fill it out and bring it to the Cookout. Then I slap a car number on it at the show. The car sign is at:
http://www.mn3s.org/car-sign.doc

I may try the name stickers. We'll see if they have them at the party supply stores.

later,
Curt

Re: Cookout numbers

I would be there if it weren't for "Night Shift" (HIN's better version here in chicago) being that weekend. I'll try to get my buddies with dsm's back in MN to go. I'll even try to get a former best in show car out there, the 1992 gsx that Derek used to own. One of my buddies owns it now, and I'm sure he will want to go.
This is the one-

Re: Cookout numbers

Just talked to him, and looks as if the gsx isn't gonna be making it out to the cookout...damn if gas wasn't so expensive I'd drive my new 1g out there.

Re: Cookout numbers

The numbers are looking a little better. We have 133 sign ups now. Thats about -5 from last year at this time.

later,
Curt
