Um...that sounded gay. That DSM in his sig makes some hella power. And to me that Bov sounds just fine. I don't think he needs to replace it with anything else. If I read his other thread right. Its a HKS BOV. But eh...wow just wow....

Hey *I forgive you lol* can you please show me when I said his car didn't make power? I just think clear corners and all whites rims is about as fruity and ricer as it comes.

About the BOV... that is how a lot of blow offs sound, its called compressor surge, I'm sure replacing it isn't on the top of his list, hell probably won't even see any power out of it. However if you can do something to prevent compressor surge why not?

BTW forgot to mention this earlier, TKR the car looks and sounds bad ass got to love evo IIIs.

Coming from somebody that thinks "XYZ" BOV makes more power, insults don't mean much. I'll spend my money on performance, you can spend yours on stock rims and a couple cans of bronze Krylon.

Re: well I now own a evo III

I've seen the car in person, it's definitely come a long way. I can't wait to see it painted up and on the streets. 275 hp in a 2500lb car is nothing to sneeze at.

Re: well I now own a evo III

I'll spend my money on performance too. Visual enhancements are the last thing I'm concerned about. After all I like owning a four banger for a reason, it's the whole sleeper appeal to me. Can't think of a better feeling then pulling up to a new Z06 in your stock looking 1g DSM and toasting the dude.

P.S. my comment was far from being directed towards TKRs cars. Shit I didn't even know he had white rims, my apologies.

Re: well I now own a evo III

thanks steve
if you did not know it is ok

the rear evo brakes are froze so I am uing the evo rotors turned them (sence the galant vr-4's have a deeper tophat) and using 1g gsx calapers and brackets with mirage pads. It would have been alot easer if they did not stop makeing the rear calpaers for the mirage es's. (the fancy 4g mirage with 1.8 and abs and all disk brakes)

Re: well I now own a evo III

I have envyed you TKR since I have joined this website and I saw you on the featured members area and saw what you were able to do with you dsm. Now I am just even more impressed with this evo project and you have brought another level of respect I have for you.

Shit anyone who can do all the things you do has my fullest respect. That is why I joined this site so that I can learn as much as possible and be able to one day build my own engine, and maybe even make a friend or two along the way.

Re: well I now own a evo III

thanks man

well it is going to start cant stand it will be moded now.
I am taking the talon back closer to stock and puting the evo set up on it and power sterring back on it and alot of other parts will be coming off it. Then the talon will be going to the wife sence her 90 eclipse is pos rust bucket.

so going into the evoIII now
set of hks 272's
the pte 50 trim I have to rebuild
255 pump
afpr
part's will go on the evo and the spyder from the talon

I will just have to find a way to tune it now sence dsmlink does not know if a 2g set up will work with the evo III ecu

well I am doing to have to find a way to tune it sence dsmlink will not work unless I make a adaptor harness and change to a 2g ecu and change some of the engine sencers to 2g ones.
