Re: GsXtUrBo98's 2G project thread
Went and picked up my dyna tec cdi today from map but did not install.. Went to the gas station to fill her up and she runs great with the fresh gas but the rear end still clunks even after replacing the 2 rear axles with hd ones..... I guess it could be the rear diff itself..

Re: GsXtUrBo98's 2G project thread
Does it clunk when shifting? If so, it's probably the rear diff bushings. Evo's do the same crap. Doing new rear diff bushings and driveshaft bushings cures it most the time.

Re: GsXtUrBo98's 2G project thread
Does it clunk driving strait, turning, or both?

Are you sure that isn't the noise you are hearing?

Re: GsXtUrBo98's 2G project thread
That is def from having a welded center diff. Happens to all with a welded diff if you are turning in tighter areas.

Re: GsXtUrBo98's 2G project thread
So I installed a dynatek arc2 and am still having break up problems.. I was at 27psi and turned it down to 25psi and it wasn't as bad. But then I turned it down to 22psi and she goes pretty damn smooth through the gears.. I think I'm in need of a retune..
Note: I also fixed some boost leaks but there isn't any difference from before or after since they were before the maf

Re: GsXtUrBo98's 2G project thread
If they're more than a couple months old, I'd try new plugs first.

Re: GsXtUrBo98's 2G project thread
Why are you running those plugs may i ask?
Switch to BR7ES and see if that changes. If you are on E85 those may be too cold.

Re: GsXtUrBo98's 2G project thread
hmm, i guess I'd try the BR7ES and see if they help any, cheap enough to try.

Re: GsXtUrBo98's 2G project thread
Why BR7ES and not BPR7ES?
