Hrm... great, alarm didn't go off. I'm assuming if i went and showed up after tech inspection and sign in is over, they'd just turn me away.

Was a good time. I got 2nd in XP, Steve (the car owner) beat me by .12x seconds. But still a very fun day!

I gotta say, rallyx is almost as fun as autox. Tried it out today, had a great time. Definitely made up for my oversleeping blunder

You say almost, so I'm guessing you don't have as big of a soft spot for sideways as I do.
Anyway, here's proof:
But was what really cool to see was this:

Turn in earlier, and more goey foot!
I found out last night that my co-worker likes working Sundays, so after I'm trained, I won't be. Party on, Garth!
I need a 1G already.

Tried that. The only way I could get it to kick out was braking while i was turning.
Dan,
That shouldn't stop you from racing. I was racing in PA (Prepared AWD) which is modified AWD cars... even though my only mod was a hacked aircan (Thanks to you that will be fixed soon...) And actually the average PA time was about the same as the average SA (stock AWD) time. Although depending on your mods you could be bumped up into m4 (from what I understand, anything goes AWD cars). But really, its just to have fun. So who cares what class you're in or how fast you are. Just do it!

It would be cool to see more DSMs out there. I was outnumbered by subarus.

Re: The Great Autocross Mega Thread!
I have a feeling we'll always be outnumbered by Scoobys, no matter how many of us show up.
I do encourage anyone who's interested to at least come and spectate one of these events.

Sweet, I'll have to see what I fit into. Once I get my car tuned a bit, I'll take it out for a run.

Re: The Great Autocross Mega Thread!
All would need to do for prep is toss a new intake on, and swap my fpr's (think mine is faulty) and I should be good to go. Lmk paul when the next one is going on, maybe I'll tag along.

Re: The Great Autocross Mega Thread!
There is a test and tune event at DCTC on August 29th. This is a members only event, you have to be a MAC member in order to sign up. The good thing about it is that since there is no competition going on you can have passengers along. I'm inviting anyone here that would like to see what autocross is all about to bring a helmet and come on out and ride along with me for a couple runs. You can gladly ask to ride along in any of the other cars there as well, most everyone is willing to let new people ride along so they can experience different cars. Will be starting around 10:00am and will hopefully be done before 5:00pm.

Re: The Great Autocross Mega Thread!
I think I'm free that weekend, I'd like to go watch and have a few rides. Can you also drive other people's cars, as long as you're the driver?
