Re: House Projects
To top that badass bowl off, you need to get an asian toilet seat. They require an outlet, and are heated and pressure wash your genitalia for you with warm water.

I got a guy, he'll come to your house with samples and everything. I personally, can get the pad for ya on the cheap! PM me more info on the size of your theater room, and I could def. help out.
BTW: That bathroom looks sick I love that tile and the way its brick layed over the standard square. Gives it a designer feel without adding crazy tiles here and there. Also, its good you went a little modern I see that stuff more, and more and I think it will be in for a while.

Re: House Projects
I keep forgetting to post these pictures! I took these just before thanksgiving. I still need to get a couple closet doors painted and installed, but We've been too busy enjoying this space!! I also have a different mount for the TV that I need to put up that will hold it closer to the wall and at less of an angle. The mount currently being used is rated to hold a 200lb TV but with the 90lb TV it angles down I can't tighten it enough to withhold it.
Just before thanksgiving, and on black friday, I got a 58" Panasonic Plasma, surround sound and a PS3 to round out the project!
On to the pictures....
This picture is the wall directly behind the TV. I used a remote repeater and have everything hidden and love how clean it looks from the TV side! Its a little messy yet but nice to have it all out of the way.
This is Rachael's new Kitten (Noche) enjoying the basement/new TV.

Re: House Projects
Looks awesome Rosey! Is that the center channel of the surround sound on the floor under the TV? You should mount that right under the TV if you haven't already. From my experience, surround sound will sound best with all the speakers at ear level where you will be sitting.

Re: House Projects
Well I've been motivated to get some more stuff done around the house. First quick and easy one is to redo my infamous "purple bathroom". It's exactly how it was when I bought this place, and am finally going to fix it once and for all.
I forgot to take a good before picture, so this is about the best I have. This is still the old flooring, it now has hardwood laminate.
But anyhow, best before pic I got. The plan is pretty simple.
- New Paint (same color as entry way, tan color)
- New TP & Towel hangers
- New light fixture ($30 from Menards)
- New door hardware (ditch the gold plated junk)
Again this is just a little townhouse so I'm trying to make improvements, but on a lower budget to maximize my return on investment.
