Man, it just seems so laggy and peaky. Did you have boost leaks or exhaust leaks? Did shane print you off a boost graph?

Know Idea why it came out. Everything was tight on the car. I drove it around for almost a week before the tune.

It is the bottom end check it out last night. It takes alot to turn it over with out plugs in it.

It's a shame to see that motor finally give up the ghost from something so stupid.

Yep. The Spyder was the 4th car I had it in over the last 8 years. It will be fixed or replaced if I can find a good deal on a short block

Back to the way it has been for 11 years

Engine looks like it will be a total loss.

Don't know if this happed when we lost all the oil or it was like it for a while. The engine has been in 4 of my cars and has been running for 8 years.

Ouch, well at least you got good use of the engine! What are the plans for it then? Just gonna throw another 2g/1g combo in it?

Re: after 10 years its coming back to life

Don't know right now. Going to see if I can find a good short block now to get it back up ASAP. To bad I sold my built bottom end that I never put together for the car last winter.

Re: after 10 years its coming back to life

I have a 6 bolt short block that ran when removed but the pistons have some minor valve contact. It will buff out.

Re: after 10 years its coming back to life

Picked up the new bottom end yesterday from Steve. It is the same set up I had in the car. 2g pistons on 1g rods. Just need to get a oil pump and put it together.

Also got the new 10an oil cooler put on with new brackets. It is a lot bigger than the 8am cooler that was on the car.

Will be dropping the head off today to get cleaned. Will be back running soon
