In the US maybe, but have you ever been to Thailand? Can't wait for the event though, hopefully we will have good weather like last year.

Re: All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show -- August 21st, 2005
Things are looking really good for the Cookout. We are now up to 97 sign-ups. I've updated the sign-up list. You can see the huge variety of Mitsus at: http://www.mn3s.org/attendees2005.html
We are still on pace to have at least 120 cars the day of the show. Some of the cars scheduled to be there include the world's fastest full weight 3/S, the only 3g twin turbo Eclipse utilizing 3/S turbos and manifolds. Or how about an Avenger with a turbo 4g63 engine and AWD.
Its gonna be a great collection of Mitsubishis. Hope you can make it.

Curt

Is there an entry option for Display Car only and not be judged? After what happend a few years back at a somewhat local car show event, i don't think i'll ever show to be judged.

Its all participant voting, no judges. You'll truely be judged by your piers only. And to be honest, a lot of people aren't there for the car show part anyways. Its just as much about hanging out with fellow Mitsu nuts as it is about the car show.
Besides, you need to be registered with a car number to be eligible for the prizes. You don't want to miss out on that. So just come and be in the show and have fun with it.

Oh, come on... I spell 99% of my words right. If we all had perfect sentences, we'd put an "A" in front of "body of water" and we'd capitalize Rogers. So there.

Re: All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show -- August 21st, 2005
It is just public judging, there aren't actual judges. People that enter their cars get a form and pick the best car out of each category.

Re: All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show -- August 21st, 2005
That's cool. I was at a car show once where the hosting club did the judging. You can just imagine who most of the winners were. Pissed alot of people off in the process. I believe Brainerd is the weekend before so that makes my appearance chances a little better.

Re: All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show -- August 21st, 2005
I will show up, probably in the old Mighty Max. Anyone who wants to look better can park next to it, anything sitting beside it will look better If I have a turbo on it by then do I get a prize? I will race the toaster van for one!
BTW, I will get you some things to give away as well Curt. Let me know if there is anything else I can do.

Hey Raptor,
That would be cool if you wanted to donate some prizes. I'll let you decide on what to donate. I actually want to see your Mighty Max. I love those things. They could kick the crap out of those toaster vans.

Curt

Hey I have a little problem... I can go but my neices baptism is that morning so is there any way I can just come up and drop off the car at 10:30 and then show up around 1? Judging is around 3-4 I think right?

Yep, that should work. We do the trophy presentation about 4pm. Just find me and we'll get you register a little early. If you do the paypal thing and get your car sign ready ahead of time, we can do it really fast.

Curt
