This is one I've been watching and thinking about getting, decent price for how large it is.

Re: WTB: 4" air filter

Nice, I was re-reading that air filter thread by kracka and pondering the amsoil one or the perrin. I need to measure and see how much room I have to play with.

The Amsoil ones are about the same price too.

Re: WTB: 4" air filter

Do you need a long one like that? I have a k&n filter that is a bit shorter then that, not sure if it's 4" but I can surely measure it tonight.

I like that one, but it's for the goofy stock mount IC piping which I doubt anyone has anymore. I wish I could find my old Bushnutz 3" cai from back in the day.

Re: WTB: 4" air filter

If I can bolt it to the turbo i have about 8" of room.
Shorter the better, it will be a temporary thing until I can build an intake for it.

Re: WTB: 4" air filter

Similar idea as a K&N as they are cotton filter media requiring oil. However better craftsmanship, and a thinner denser cotton than K&N. From what I gather it'd be like comparing several layers of cotton gauze (K&N) to say a polo shirt (green filter). Everything I've heard about them is nothing but good.
