PIK performance in St. Cloud is working on a 4G63 Civic. They have the motor up and running in the car already, they are just waiting for the Axles and lower cross member to be completed and she's good to go.
Can he sign up?
Also I just registured as well. doubt I'll have the body kit or the rust looking good by them due to so much effort being focused on the Mayhem. But at least I'll be there.

I'm kind of on the fence on this one. Have the person contact me, and we'll talk.

Damn, that sounds pretty crazy. Rip out the heart of that Honda and stick something Mitsu in it. I like it.
I'm sure he could always hang out in the parking lot at the very least. I know I was checking out some of the non-mitsu cars in the lot last year.

Hey everyone,
I've made some updates to the All Mitsu Cookout page at:
http://www.mn3s.org/all_mitsubishi2004.html
I've added some hotel and campground information for those planning on staying overnight in the Twin Cities. As of today we have 38 people signed up for the Cookout. Thats right on par with what I'm expecting.
Hope to see you there,
Curt

Techniclly you don't have to sign-up. You can just show up the day of the event. But it makes my job easier if you sign-up. I can get a better idea of how much food to buy. Also, when you do the final registration at the show itself, it goes quicker if I have you on my list.
I just checked the sign up list and we have 44 sign ups so far. Thats great so far! We have always ended up with more people at the show then the number that signed up in advance.
Hope you can make it,
Curt

I know the amount of time, effort, and work you put into this event and we all really appreciate it. With that said, if I can make your work load even a little lighter by pre-registering, I'll do it. Thanks again Curt!

are you still asking for a Mods list, etc like last year?
I still have last years pinned up on my wall here at work. IF it's going to be the same format I'll just update that list.

I've got the blank car sign for you to fill out. Its at:
http://www.mn3s.org/car-sign.doc
If you want to get creative and make a second or third page, thats cool with me. Just try and make it look decent. Remember to leave the car number field blank. You'll get that the day of the show.
Dang, we are only 6.5 weeks away from the Cookout!! hmy:

Hey everyone,
I've finalized the categories for the All Mitsu Cookout. Here they are:
Best 90-94 DSM
Best 95-99 DSM
Best 00+ Eclipse/Stratus coupe
Best 91-93 3/S
Best 94-99 3/S
Best Evo *
Best Classic Mitsu (89 and older)
Best Other Mitsu *
The "Gene Helms" Cleanest Car Overall
* The Evo and Other category may be lumped together. So far there are not enough EVOs for there own category.
We will have trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for all categories except Cleanest Car. That is only a 1st place trophy. All voting is done by the participants. So far we have 64 people signed up and we still have a month to go!!

Hey everyone,
I always keep forgeting to talk about the prizes for the All Mitsu Cookout. Brookdale Mitsubishi is providing a ton of prizes again this year. They are really stepping up to the plate to make sure The Cookout is a huge success. I know for sure we have a set of 2G DSM floor mats to give away and several sets of binoculars to give away, plus a bunch of things I don't even know about.
Jack, at Mitsubishi Specialties will be at the Cookout too. He sells some nice Vacumn hose reduction kits for the 3/S. He'll be selling those, plus have some vouchers to give away for free kits.
QPR will be donating some prizes too. They have some hose kits from Hose Techniques and might have some other goodies to give away too. Stay tuned.
I've also finalized the price of the Cookout. It will again be $5. You can pay the day of the show, but it would make my life easier if you paid in advance. You can send me a Paypal to cgendron@mail.com Make sure to include your full name. By pre-paying, it makes the registration process the day of the show go a lot quicker.
We are only about three weeks away now!!

Curt

Hey everyone,
The All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show is drawing near. Its just over two weeks away now. We've got 78 cars signed up so far, and I'm still expecting well over 100 cars to show up the day of the show. Here are a few reminders:
1. If you are planning on coming and haven't signed up, please do so. It helps with the planning of the event and the registration process goes quicker at the show. Sign up form is here:
http://mn3s.zforcenetwork.com/list/?p=subscribe
2. Once you've signed up, you can paypal me the $5 registration. Send the paypal to cgendron@mail.com By pre-paying it also speeds up the registration the day of the show. $5 gets you and a guest in the show with your Mitsu and all the food you can eat. Its a hell of a bargain.
3. Bring a lawn chair and an FRS radio. We'll be using the FRS radios to announce the prizes and other info. You don't want to miss out on all the giveaways. There are a ton of them.
Thanks,
Curt

Hey everyone,
Only 11 days left until the Cookout. The trophies are made. They will be a little bigger than last year. We also have a ton of prizes to give away. QPR has a bunch of shirts and other apparal from Redline Oils to give away. Brookdale Mitsubishi has a bunch of stuff. Plus, Jack with Mitsubishi Specialties has some prizes. Don't forget that FRS radio, or you'll miss your car number being called out. With over 60 prizes to give away, a lot of people will walk away with stuff.
Also, here is a good map of where the Ellingson Car Museum is:

I don't think my car will be there to defend its' title Unless QPR can get me those pistons ASAP! Everything is ready to drop in this time, it should go quick!
I will be there though with my red DD. I am not going to get a trophy with that thing though!

I Might be there. It's up to John now to bring my car back to life.
I'm also going to see if Jenny wants to bring her Talon up there just to get more numbers for the show as well to show it off for those that are interested in buying it.

JET -- Bring the daily driver. The more DSMs the better. Its a Laser FWD RS Turbo, right??
Brian -- Hope you can get your car there. But bring Jenny's car too. You can put a for sale sign in it. I don't mind.

I will need to defend my "2nd best 3G" title. No way in hell I stand a chance against a guy with 20k worth of *$Bling$*
Vote for Donnelly.
