Re: MitsuStyle.com
Ya know, "most" people who are on DSMStyle.com like it here cause of what we do with it. MitsuStyle.com is just a extension of that, and a name. No reason to think we can't run it as good, or better than before.
And we don't need to be bashing sites like MNSC. Those guys put a TON of effort into events and such as well for their members. When you think of the guys who are behind sites like MNSC, MN 3S, EVO MN, and even DSMStyle, you'll find some hard working people that often put more thought and preparation into helping others enjoy the hobby rather than themselves.

So true. I like how close knit we are, too. Most of us anyways. It always seems to me you guys are always looking for new ways to bring us all together, like the dyno days, Bees, parties, ETC.

Re: MitsuStyle.com
Once every post on here starts ending in "FTW!" like on MNSC, then we know we are in trouble.

Re: MitsuStyle.com
I think we are looking a little too deeply into this. It's just a modification of the name, not the people who are here.
Do I want to see DSMStyle go away, NEVER. I love my 2G and I don't see me wanting anything else for a long time (probably 'cause I'll never get my money back out of it ). Being a DSM owner, I like DSMStyle because it fits for me. But I also understand the need for change, as things do change. This site is just like any venture in business, eventually it has to change to stay current. DSM's are not being built anymore, EVO's are, Subaru's are, RX8's are, 350zx's are, etc. We started as a Mitsu family under the DSM name. But in the end, we are Mitsubishi.
So as Alan said, just chill and see what happens. If we loose 50% of our members and start going back wards, Alan still has the name in check and can re-instate it at anytime.

So change your name to Barney. Itīs just a modification to your name, not the person that you are right? I donīt think so.

Re: MitsuStyle.com
I like the name change, it suites the evolution of the site. And I can speak for myself saying that even if the member base of this site doubles, I will not tolerate any more shit than I do now. If I have to sit for an hour every night sifting through threads and PMing dumbfucks about posting then I will.
I don't care if you are from Minnesota or California, if you are a dumbfuck then you are going to be off this site.
And no offense to MNSC but if this even comes close to the bullshit that is posted each day over there I will relinquish my Administrator rights and go to sandyvaginastyle.com and piss and moan like an impotent jerk with all the other assholes.

Re: MitsuStyle.com
I must say I did like the site better when it was smaller, but thats probably because I dont really care about anyone I havent met in person.

For what its worth. I havent met anyone in person on this site but I still feel like a I am somewhat part of the community. I know that most people would welcome me to events if I ever did have the opportunity to show up.
Why would you say that you dont care about anyone that you havent met? Not everyone lives in the twin cities, this isnt TCdsms.

hmmm, a possible suggestion?
End this shit thread and the other one about FTW/FTL.
We can't change the fact that 1. the site is gonna change 2. you have everyone's input so close this shit now.
3. That FTW/FTL thread is pointless cause people are gonna do what they want, that shit isn't that offensive or whatever. Plus some nerd will figure a way to draw it with all the crazy signs on the keyboard.
I would rather you bring back that damn news thingy than this shit.

Re: MitsuStyle.com
He cares about me!!
I think as long as the mods can keep up the with all the crap that goes along with the site increasing its size, it should be good.
The only problem is look at what has happened as of late.
It gave me a headache reading thru these 5 pages, but this is the fact, The sites name IS going to change, so hold on to your pants, and for those of you that flame biotchs, just make sure you do to the one's that deserve it and mods try to keep on top of stupid Fuckers.
Let's do this.....

Re: MitsuStyle.com
Another thing is that despite the fact that many of us are moving on and no longer own DSMs, all of us HAVE owned DSMs. You get people on here that have only ever owned Evo's, 3/S's, 3G's or what have you, you'll never have the same sense of community. I'm happy here because I feel I have more in common with these members than I would with 3/S owners.

Re: MitsuStyle.com
I'm gald some people are open about their feelings on the change, and express them either way. The fact is, right now it is changing. So lets see what happens.
Anyone else have any other thoughts on it feel free to speak up. Any other misc ramblings can be posted elsewhere please.
