Re: the evo 3 swap parts are coming

last pic of the tank today. Also rockgarded the trunk floor and the wheel wells. I have a panel made for the floor already. I will also be making sidepanels and a front panel to make the trunk look a lot nicer when it is done.

God, i could cream myself over this project. You should keep a running total on what you spend. I'd love to do a similar project in the future but possibly on a different car.

When do you expect it to be ready?

Loving that fuel tank! Good thing it says "Gasoline" on the bottom, just in case anyone is a little confused!

Yeah, I like that too, and the handle on the side. Keep those, it adds a certain flair.

Re: the evo 3 swap parts are coming

thanks
got the tank straps made, rebuilt the fuel fill aqnd breather tube, put in the bolts for the tank with the spacers. Got it all mounted in the car and put 1/2 gal of gas in it and it held in the tank so it is all good.

Re: the evo 3 swap parts are coming

well here we go. I now have a running and driving rhd evolution III
The is running after some problems with the injectors not working with the ecu that was chiped so I put in the ecu that I got with the 2nd clip and strated right up. I just have to get the hks b.o.v. reserced in to the intake it wants to die when it dumps off. I got it moved to one of the other bays and put lub in the tranny,t.c., and rear end and I drove it illegaly down the street and liped it back sence I ran out of gas.
click the pic for the video to play

Re: the evo 3 swap parts are coming

man this car sucks, I could have spent that kind of cash on something more worth while. Like asian twins for your wedding or something, but seriously it drives quite nice, just a lil weird to ride on the left side.

Re: the evo 3 swap parts are coming

got the 1g gsx brakes on the car with the evo turned rotors and the mirage pads. I had to mod to get the brakes on sence the stock evo calpers were junk and we were unable to get replacment mirage calapers.
what was done.
grinded on the brackets to get the mirage pads to fit better, made plates to move the location of the ebrake cable sence they were diffrent.
