Will this work ok for porting or?

Got a nice 2G Exhaust mani off this board that I was thinking about porting myself, do you guys think this INGERSOLL Die Cutter would work out ok to complete this kind of job?

Yeah, that would work, then you need the carbide bits, grinding stones and polishing wheels. Figure at least $40 in bits.

Ok, so what would you or Mike typicaly charge for a descent port on a 2G mani then?

I got a grinder just like that off the local SK/Cheap tool truck for like $30. I've been using it at work almost daily, for over a year. You might want to check around local. Most of the cheaper ones are the same with different names slaped on them.

This place has some nice bits at a good price. http://www.harborfreight.com/
