What is the stock Boost level on a 95 GS-T?

I recently hooked up a boost gauge in my 95 Gs-t and I see 14psi all the time? Is this high for a stock motor without a boost controller? I now the kid before me removed the little restrictor in the line that gives you 1-2psi. But what do they leave the factory with?

Thanks,
Nick

2Gs typically run about that with the restrictor out.

Re: What is the stock Boost level on a 95 GS-T?

From what I found a while ago, 1g's run at about 11psi (Of course only 9psi is typical because of the puny exhaust) and 2g's are set at 14psi. Of course on a 2g, anything over 11psi and the stock BOV leaks. The BCS mod usually bumps up the boost level 1-2 psi. But this is all dependent on your exhaust and BOV.
