Job suggestions

Hey just curious what people would be able to come up with, right now I am looking for just a job for mornings before 4pm, just something to work on the side till fall semester starts. Any ideas?

Maybe menards/home depot? They pay pretty good for what they are.

Re: Job suggestions

#1, don't tell them you only want a job until school starts. You won't get hired.

I'd try the Malls. Very easy to get a job at a kiosk or cart, and most of the time it's boring, so there is always time to browse the net or do homework or something...

Re: Job suggestions

Menards blows balls... I worked for them for a year. Yes the pay was good, started off at $11.25 driving forklift, loading and unloading truck. The hours suck, even if you give them your schedual they wont follow it. And if you want a day off, good luck with that. You must work every other weekend, and they pick the hours. The only way to get off is request it a month of head of time if your lucky or a funeral or doctors note.

-Just a heads up to anyone looking to apply there.

I have heard good things about Home Depot and Lowes. I know a lot of places hire morning stockers like Target and Shopko. If you like warehouse work, Fastenal is a good company. Pay is pretty good and the work really isnt that bad. Pretty much set your own hours. There is always McDonalds or some fast food place like that, its not the best of jobs but its easy money and they are always hiring, now if you cant get a job there, something is wrong with you! There is also gas stations, or even a dishwasher somewhere after breakfast/lunch. Just throwing out some ideas. Good luck!
