I just removed the passenger side CV shaft from my '92 gsx, and replaced the torn axel seal. I'm having troubles getting the CV shaft back in the tranny case... any suggestions or tips on how to make this easier?

make sure there isn't any dirt/sand in the splines. then push, that's how I did mine.

Use a soft faced mallet or a dead blow and give it a few square smacks on the end of the axle. But, be careful not to hit the splines.

Spin the axle a little while you are trying to put it in. Also make sure the keeper ring on the end is sitting in its seat. Also make sure there aren't any burrs on the end of any splines from dropping the axle or anything.

Thanks guys, I got it in... just beat it to death with a rubber mallet. I've pulled the tranny four times...I should have this down by now.
