No the face plate was till on. But it wouldn't have mattered much. They opened the hatch and took the subs and amp and left the helmet, my dual beer can hat, and a ton of other shit including all my cds not in the palyer. What pisses me off is that my newest cd (velvet revolver) was in the deck. That cd rocks!

Damn!
I'd say put a security camera out there but that'd probably get stolen as well. :stick:

Shop insurance doesn't cover it. It's on the individual persons comp insurance. Also we just had our security system majorly upgraded yesterday. Full motion and the whole ball of wax with a camera setup and all. the camera just wasn't put up last night. It will be going up today ASAP though.

sorry to hear that man!!!!
that realy sucks!!!!
did you have alarm insatlled in your car?
u were parked on a street right? damn, that bites. no witnesses im asssuming, right?
one day my buddy got his car broken into while his car was parked in a downtown saint paul parking ramp, that's just not cool
i hate thieves! swear to god - you work your ass off to buy and own something and then some asshole decides he wants to have it as well with no work for it at all whatssoever
that makes me angry - kick'em butts!!!!!!!!!!!
talking about kickcing - never go sparring after u get kick out from a bar - damn, last nite at 2 am after we got off ground zero, me and my friends cruised to our gym and started practicing - i cant walk today!
anyhow - again sorry to hear about what had happened. try to install an alarm if you dont have it yet - i also have a nightrider light on my dashboard - i know that it doesnt do much, but at least looks more serious and keeps thieves away - so far ....

If I had that car I would do the same thing. It would be a stupid idea though unless you had full coverage insurance.

Motorcycle cop pulls up next to me on UNI and says "Want to race?"
Me- "I don't think you would stand a chance."
Cop says "probably not" and drives off.

All three were at Canterbury for Mike's birthday. I was sawing logs on the other side of the house in my room. Any noise I hear I usually associate with the bar across the street.

One of the neighbors saw one run off and got a description. It happened about 5:15ish am. I passed out about 4am. If only they would have tried about 3am ish. There would have been heads through the other 2 windows.
Keep an eye out for a newer Pioneer Deck, RF 10" sub in a box and RF Amp. Also keep an eye out for a kenwood deck. These ever come up on local forums there will be hell to pay.

Get a two way pager system. I have it although my car parks in a garage ever damn night and hibernates in the garage over winter. That way your pager/remote will make hella noise next to your ear while you sleep and wake your ass up (or use vibrate mode mmmmmmmmmm JK).
my 2 cents worth

Yup, 2 ways rock, have one on the Dakota and SRT.
Have a few to chose from at Best Buy, Viper, Clifford, Audiovox.
