Cheap Laptop.

I'm looking for something that I can run DSMlink on. Doesn't need to be anything special, just as long as it has an ethernet card so I can connect it to the internet. Also has to have a good battery.

Re: Cheap Laptop.

Kevin, how much are you looking to spend? what kind of OS should it be running? anything specific? like HD space? or amount of RAM... does any of that matter? I might be able to hook you up for a cheap one... btw, my opinion on the whole battery deal, is why cant you just go to wal mart or something and get a converter? it would be just as easy right? that way your laptop can just be plugged in the whole time, and you wont have to worry bout it dying on you at all.... thats what i was doing when i was running my laptop in my car...

Re: Cheap Laptop.

I don't really wanna spend more than $300. The problem with running an inverter, is my cigarette lighter doesn't work, and I'm too lazy to figure out why. haha. OS isn't too important, it should have enough ram that it doesn't completely fall on it's face when trying to load a website, and HD space isn't a major concern either.
