Dvd/vhs Combo Player

Any of you guys got one of those dvd/vhs combo player? I'm a cheap bastard and I've been looking around for one but don't know which one to buy. I've of coursed looked at the ones at walmart and nothing but bad reviews on their website. I'm not looking for anything fancy such as recording dvds and such. Just one that can play dvd/vhs and has that lcd screen so I can see what chapter/sceen I'm on and the minutes, and obviously the functions button on the box such as play, stop, rewind,up,down and etc.

Let me know if you have one and how much it was and where you got it from, and if it's still working good or not.

We have had a Sony VHS/DVD player for about 2 years now and it still works great no problems.

They can't be more than 50 bucks these days... just dive in.

I'm surprised you are even interested in something that plays VHS when DVDs are moving into newer formats and becoming obsolete in the next year or two.

Just get something name brand and it'll be fine

Re: Dvd/vhs Combo Player

Well, the vhs is for my folks. They aren't that old but a lot of movies that they watch are just VHS and right now our current VHS player is broken and our DVD player sucks so I figured I just get one of those basic dvd/vhs combo player and save some space and wires while I'm at it.

I have a combo one down stairs, I do not remeber the name brand but it still works after a few years of use.
