Re: My progress...Part Deux!

Good job. Sounds like time for a real fuel system. A1000.

Re: My progress...Part Deux!

Bahh that fuel system when working properly will support plenty of power to max out that turbo. Something is just not right with it, I am going to get a new fuel filter here in a minute. And if that doesn't do it then I am sure its something with the fuel pump most likely.

Re: My progress...Part Deux!

I dunno, I've seen the exact same thing with my buddy's 2.4/60-1. After he got up past 470ish his 255 just wouldn't cut it. That's a bunch of fuel to demand from a fuel pump @ 70+psi. An A1000 and new lines to/from the tank and no more problems. Even with a single A1000, I've never been able to get much more than 600ish to the wheels @ 70+psi with a boosted combination. Somewhere around that area I use dual pumps. If you can keep the pressure down then there's plenty left in that pump.

Re: My progress...Part Deux!

Yeah that pump should run out of gas around 600hp or so, there has been a few people that have gotten a tab bit more out of it. I agree a A1000 setup would be a lot better and safer though.

Re: My progress...Part Deux!

I just got back from getting a new filter for it, when JET gets home we are going to try that out and see if the pressure stays up where its supposed to.

Re: My progress...Part Deux!

Does that AEM setup have a wideband?

Re: My progress...Part Deux!

Yeah, I have a tech edge 2.0 on it running a Bosch sensor. The fuel pump isn't the problem, it should be good for just over 600 whp.

Thanks Craig and Shane for the work while I was gone!

Re: My progress...Part Deux!

Well, I got my miss figured out that has been plaguing my car. I had to do a parts run so I turned off the stutterbox. Now it runs fine. That damn stutterbox is pissing me off!!
