I am using the neon also on PS2. It seems as if it was the fastest car for the buck at the start. It is not like money really matters in the game though. I have about 30,000 and have nothing to spend it on. It sucks that you need to get to certain levels before being able to buy certain things. I am not very far in the game though.

please explain why you hate it cause I am seriously thinking about getting it. Is it just that it is so much fun that you won't stop playing or is it really that bad.

The fastest car in this game is the mazda miata. No joke with lvl 3 stage shit it well not lose to anything i have raced. Try to get a good time in drag with the miata and than try beating it... Its fast.

You ever been playing, after you unlock all the level 3 perf. mods, and like you coincidentally hit every damn thing in sight? And when you do, your car gets fucking flipped all around like a rag doll? Well i'm kinda stuck on this race, and it's like i'll be whippin ass, but on like the last lap everyone seems to be shooting N20 the whole lap cuz they'll wipe out and catch me right away. I dunno, it's an awesome game, BuildaDSM, It's worth getting. Just a little frustrating at times. But another good game to get, I just bought it, ManHunt. PS2. Badass.

I gotta question for those of you who own it on PS2. I just started playing (on level 16) and I have had my car on 3 mag covers, but when I check them out on the underground menu, it shows eight of them being locked, and none of the three I got unlocked... Also, my name doesn't show up under the statistics. Is this normal, anybody else have these issues?

No, that's never happened to me. You mean your win/loss stats, or the rankings? Either way, I've never had that problem.
