Wow, that really sucks. At least they last forever I guess. On my old 16g setup on my 1g, I would get about 2 tanks of gas for each set of plugs. lol

Misfires are always bad but the car actually makes less power at 3k rpm now than it did on the stock turbo.

Yeah. Shane says that the X doesn't have some of the injector-related tables that he normally uses to dial them in. Without those it'll take more time and tinkering to get them running smoothly.
It's the hazard of owning a newer car...you end up paying the hourly rate while vendors, tuners, etc. figure out how to do things. It ultimately does help out the community but American Express keeps sending me thank-you letters.

I've been trying to get more tables out of some of the beta testers I've been working with, but no one seems to have them yet.

Get MAP sensor tables first, lol. A 4 bar scaling would be so awesome. Even though i just sold my 4bar
More injector tables would be good though too.

oh and you want to switch to the DW injectors?
It is a hazard of a newer car and trying something new, it still happens with older cars too, usually we know what we are getting into.
Why didn't you try FIC bluemax injectors?

They require splicing and Shane was concerned about the latency. There were no results at the time I made the parts list for my build but people have subsequently reported good luck on the X with the 1100's.
Shane has some experience with the ID's and sold them to me at a fair price so that's why I went that way.

If you can dial them in they will be the last injector you buy, assuming they don't break.
They are great injectors, its just a LOT of fuel to control.

Re: Evo X upgrades
Now that my car has formally moved to 'toy status', I'm thinking about lightening the car a bit. Need to talk to someone about fabricating a rear seat delete that'll look nice. Beatrush makes one for the 8/9's but per usual nothing is out yet for the X. I saw a thread the other day where a guy made new brackets for a Beatrush.
My brother shot some video yesterday...I'll have to sort through it and see what he got. Next month I'll strap the Go Pro HD to the front grille and get some footage...I didn't get enough laps in on this trip to do anything like that.

Cool dude, i was just wondering that is all. Also just trying to help on the map sensor thing, its just sitting here.
Do they sell lightweight pieces for your car? Since the market is bigger for the X I hope you guys get some good pieces or maybe you can convince some local shops to make some for you.

I haven't researched a lot yet. Fairly basic things like a replacement undertray are only made by one company (Carbing). I really wish Beatrush would get into the game because they have some nice-looking shit for the 8/9's.
I'll just start by gutting the trunk and get an aluminum cover for where the seat back would go. Since I'm still going for a combo street/track car I'm thinking I'll Dynomat the back of it and the floor where the seat bottom would normally go (we'll see how heavy that stuff is...I've never used it before).

Order them up!
I know I will be 1300's should be more than enough for e85 with the double pumper for all my needs.
I am sure they would come close to supporting a t3 kit too, if i need to i could raise base pressure.
But more than enough for stock frame turbos. That is good news.

If you still want your car to be street/track, why don't you just take the excess things like the rear seat out just before you go to the track?
Also, you probably won't like the Go Pro too much. If you haven't opened it, I would try to return it. Mine takes ok picture, but doesn't have any audible sound. Would be better off creating a mounting spot for your digital camera.
I have some video I could show you from when I was at the track with the Go Pro last year. Might be too big to email though.

Sound is awful on all of the small devices, including the digital camcorder that I've shot a few clips on. The lack of image stabilization on these devices could be a problem, I suspect.
They've got some baller setups that use GPS or OBDII port data as overlays and of course that'd be awesome.
