Tri-State is a nice-enough place. However, on the 17th it was closed. I think that Cedar Falls was taking on both loads of dragsters.

They let the slick lanes got 3 times to 1 over the street car lanes. It was a nice day out though and there were some fast cars there. The reason they do that is because the street tire cars scrape the VHT off of the track. The track managers don't like to spend money on VHT if they don't have to. If they keep you off the track with street tires, they are saving money and time in their eyes.

If you're doing a big burnout with street tires, you should be kicked off the track anyways. I don't think that was much of a problem there except for the white boy with the goofy-ass Civic 4-door running 17's. I'm surprised he didn't get linched, there was some serious rednecks down there.
