Apparently you don't realise how fast some DSM's are, that cost a few grand(including the car)

Oh, no, I realize full well how fast they are, as my good buddy Khadgar has told me. I respect them, really. If I wanted a playdoh-engine car with as many creature comforts as a burning stove, but at least get to go 6.5 seconds to 60 stock, hey, by all means, the GSM would be at the top of my list.

I know John, this is entertaining trashing the new yuppy tool. :bounce: I am browsing about 8 sites right now and this thread is growing pretty quick between views. Gotta love it! On with the trashing :whipped:

And I love it, all he talks about is straight line racing. He won't post anything about turning. He thinks that a true test of a car is 0-60. How about 50-100?????

Whats that supposed to mean? What creature comforts does your car have that mine doesn't?

A stock dsm can beat you. That is less than comparable in my book. Why did you cheap out on the 325i anyhow? You should have gotten the 745 or M3.
|
Of course a stock DSM can beat me, it's got a freakin' turbo. Not that that only means much, I can beat both a turbo'd focus and a jetta 1.8T. Not huge accomplishments by any means, but still.
Whatever. I could never bring myself to buy a DSM or a civic and then soup it up. Absolutely no class at all.
On the "why didnt you get blah blah" subject:
a) I can beat a 92 745. Easy.
B) If it was totally up to me, I would have gotten an E36 M3. But it wasn't up to me, and I'm workin' with what I have. Throw a couple mods on that M3, and I'd easily smoke most of you silly DSM'ers (Khadgar, for one).

"Air conditioning, for one thing."
Wow, what a come back!!! Ours came stock with it too, we just chose to take it out. They also came with electric locks, windows, etc. Just not the heavy price tag that your slow ass car came with.

HEY! Get out of here, you lousy GameRanger-using punk.
That's actually the best insult i've heard tonight, comparing me to a domestic car.

Why? You've been comparing yourself to domestics this whole time.

That was a joke. How about ... er... four dours? I bet you guys don't have heated seats. Or a nifty glovebox-mounted rechargable flashlight.

Yeah, but in my comparo's, I win. I don't like being compared to a crappy domestic car that supposedly can run with mine in the quarter mile.

Obviously Blufire is just trolling with a 10 year old BMW trying to look cool. I only thought BMW's where cool when they where really old or brand new. Other wise they just kind of make you look unoriginal or like you must be the kid whos mom just got a new car (and you got stuck with hers). My A4 I use to run parts would school you, come to think of it, so would my tow van.
And they do it without the Saturnish grey unpainted lower section. Look like this?. Couldn't you get the one of the models where they painted it all the way to the bottom?
Ooops, I'm sorry I don't mean to pick on your stock car. I'll wait for you to come back with your new M3 with a few grand worth of mods. Let me know when it happens. Till then go troll somewhere else.
