I'm just popping in, Swifty i recommended doing the whole thing, you just couldn't afford the whole coating at that time, lol

Cast aluminum and magnesium parts may experience out-gassing and or bubbling in the finished powder coating caused by porous coatings.

Did you mean porous CASTings?
yes we usually out gas parts when we feel this could be a problem,

You would want that stuff ceramic coated and yes they do it.. maybe ill post up a pic tonight of my manifold they did. They do great coating work there!

How much to powder coat a set of 4 Honda CRV 15" alluminum wheels? No tires, no wheel weights, etc.
Obviously will need to be stripped/prepped and powdercoated.
