Just look at the mod lists of some people's cars and then how fast/slow they are. It can get pretty ridiculou$.

Yea like my car....
Plus what is fast anymore??? You guys say you can t run fast on a tight budget but really you can only get to about mid 12s... and around here taht really isnt a big deal anymore since some are getting to the 10s....
Money is a big issue in going fast. In fast I mean keeping up with everyone else thats getting 2.4s and 60-1 turbos and all that shit. :blah: You can only keep getting faster.... there no stopping once youve tried to get to "fast". I mean yea Chers car was really fast with minimal mods. But now its not as hes prolly upgrading stuff to become faster. No one stays at a certain point and stops for good. They either start over or keep going with bigger (more expensive) mods.

I make fun of myself because if I didn't beat people to the punch everyone else would chime in... why... because I make it easy for people to do. Being Blonde, and that my 95 GSX has a huge list of mods and still hasn't run faster then a 14.2 at Rock Falls (only took it there once so far the week I bought it so I had no idea how to launch the car)

Hey Joe, did you forget about ryan and david? Not that they are going real extreme, but they both will have fresh motors and some decent mods.

Better than fighting over who runs 10s first, cus I seriously doubt more than 1 or 2 of us will get into the 10s this year :stick:
Here's for hoping though

I agree. There will probly be 2-3 (James, Nash, someone else) in the 10's and probly 6 (Jet, v8killer, CVD, Cher, Steve, John L.) cars running 11's.

I know positively that I will be running 10's this year and I am quite sure John will be too. Nash is pretty much a given and James should be there too if all goes well. Cher will probably be there too from what I have heard.
I just needed 2 things last year to get a 10, an engine that wasn't crankwalked and 3 mph. I should get at least 10 mph and will have a fresh engine that is built properly so the damn thing will shift.
