Whos car runs?
Raise there hand!

Hehehehe,
All in fun!
I've got four Mitsus in garage that have been driveable virtually every day that I've owned them.

minor mods = mostly runs

Kiel, congrats on the purchase. Dispite the reputation of the past Neons those SRT-4s are quite the pocket rocket.

later,
Curt

Tom, I have a crisp $50 says that I will not only beat you in a head to head 1/4 mile race, but that I'll put 1 car length on you through second gear.

Well Fuck me.

Went to White Bear Dodge, and Signed off on this agreement with the dealer:

11,500 for my car
2,500 down
20,000 for the SRT-4
6.5% Intrest
Payments around 430-480/month

SO...

We meet with the finance manager, and here is what the agreement reads:
Trade Appraisal: $9400 (11,500?)
Minimum amound due at signing $10,000 (2,500?)
Price of Car: $22,060 Plus tax title license (20,000?)
12.99% Interest over 72 months (6.5%?)
Payments at $577???!!!

What a bunch of fucking liars and cheats.
If that's the kind of people selling cars, then I don't want one.

I'm more pissed that they disrespected myself, and my parents, and lied in our faces.

On top of that, my Eclipse isn't going to last much longer.

What a load of shit.

Watch yourself when you buy from White Bear Dodge.

That's a bunch of BS

Sounds like when I applied for my house. If they qoute you something I think it should be illegal to switch it on you when it comes time to actually sign.

I hope you told them to Fuck off

Senario 1:
Way back when I was first looking into getting into DSM's I went to Metro Mitsu and wanted to trade my 98 LXI in for a 98 GSX.

My car had 22K miles on it and the wanted to give me say like 10 grand for it. (new was $22,525)

anyrated back to the GSX... was posted as a 98 in the window, etc... went to set the paper work done. and what's listed on the paper? 1997

I showed them the error and they said oh ya.. it's a 1997, it's a misprint out there.

so I asked so does that drop the cost of the car since it's a 97 not a 98. They said it doesn't matter won't effect price.

I said well if my car was a 97 not a 98 and I tried to sell the price I could get for it would be different. And walked out.

Scenario 2:
When I bought my 98 Sebring LXI from the now Cadilac dealership in Apple Valley (was chrysler back then) The car was listed as Brand NEW.....

Car had something like 1500 miles on it, etc..
Anyrate when we signed the paper work.. they put down the car only have 350 miles on it. I said the milage was off and they oh that's a typo. I'll fix it breaks out the white out on the master copy and manually writes in 1500 miles. (I noticed he was being careful not to let it go through onto his copy)

Yea tahoes are nice but I hate the loose feel of when driving, they are just so tipsy. Z-71s might be a bit tighter but still, Id only get one for hauling stuff or trailering. Bas gas mileage too.
