What about we just all show up for an event like this?
This Monte Carlo style event is being run in conjunction with the 2004
Oktoberally. Great roads, brisk speeds. If you enjoy driving twisty
all-paved back roads with lots of elevation changes, you'll love this
event.
For those not familiar with a Monte Carlo style rally, we provide the
leg time plus the leg mileage in tenths of a mile.
The Oktoberally Express

Unlike ProRally, the roads are not closed and you will be expected to
stay within the speed limit. Not to worry, the roads and scenery are
good enough that this is not a problem except for the truly crazed and
they should probably not enter.
Ciao,
Ed Solstad
I am pretty sure that it will be almost the same roads as used in the Volksport Fall Tour. AKA 'the sweet tour'
