Without hotel costs a safe amount the past 2 years was about $150 for gas and food and track entry fees if I recall right, but there's alot of other shit to figure in. Cedar Point and well..... BEER!
I wish I was going again but oh well, next year I guess. Gonna hit the pro rally up this year since I missed it the last 2 years. Have fun everyone and GOOD LUCK to all those running in the Shootout!

You guys should find us, we will be staying at the track too. Look for a good sized RV pulling a silver DSM on a tow dolly with MN plates.

Its in Norwalk, Ohio. About a 12 hour drive if I remember right. I am sure there is a caravan that you could follow down there all of you. We will be moving slower since we have an RV but there will be cars that will be going at a better pace.
All that I know is I can't wait, this is going to be a fun time.

Sad to say, due to conflicts of money and work i will not be able to attend. I wish i could, I was totally looking foreward to it this year. But i still do have a room reserved, so if anyone needs a room at the BW tell me and ill cancel and you can reserve it immediatly after i cancel.

Just to let people know, Curtis is not going to the Shootout. Thats means Jet and I have one extra spot in the camper to stay. PM me if you are interested. Will be really cheap to stay at the track in the RV.

Josh and I are going to hit up the Winternats at BIR for that weekend instead. Free tickets, beer, etc helped make that decision easy. Not as much fun to go to the SO without a car when its that far away.

Alright, we are now taking applications for another resident in the RV, since Curtis backed out.
28' RV, you will have your own bed. There will be 4 people total. You can ride over if you want or drive. You will get to camp with Shep (I am assuming he stays at the track again) and some of the other big whig's with big trailers (Rau?). It is supposed to be a good time!
We are leaving early Thurs and be back Mon afternoon. $125 including the gas going over. There is a shower, fridge and stove, so you will save money on food and pop too, especially during the races.

Sorry, wanted to go but something else came up... Saving for a vacation in March so I can go play in the snow around Lake Tahoe.
